Long Link Trailer Safety Chain
Long Link Trailer Safety Chain is a chain attached between the drawbar and the tow bar for the purpose of retaining connection between the towing vehicle and the trailer in the event of coupling failure.
Safety chains are required on all trailers up to 2.5T unless fitted with a breakaway brake. Trailers 2T to 2.5T require two safety chains that cross each other when connected.
